English Camp, Pare , Kediri
Pare is a small district at Kediri residence, East Java, Indonesia. Pare is well-known as English camp. Many students especially from college come to Pare to improve their English skills. You can find many englishcourse everywhere! *in Tulungrejo village and Pelem Village*. and And so do i :D
In Pare, i took program for Ramadhan’s month in BEC (Basic English Course). So, the term is only takes a month. In Pare, you don’t have to worry of living expenses. You can find many lodgings near your course that so friendly with your financial. And also, the foods are sooooooooooooo cheap! :D
Everyday we have four sessions. First session is speaking time. Next, we have vocabulary session. third, we have English Time. So we mix all lesson from speaking, vocabs and grammar here. And last, we have grammar session :). For speaking, we have Miss Zunita. Mr. Bayguni for vocabulary, Mr. Adin for english time, and Mr. Nanang for grammar. Studying with them were so fun and attractive. Even the lessons were not satisfying me much, those were enough to spend my time in Ramadhan month and to remember grammar back.
From this class, i have many experiences that were so fun and i also have many friends from many place and culture. Firstly, in Pare i got shock culture. Because, in Pare, near my lived, the neighborhood around me are so religious with Islam. I’m a muslim but my neighborhood in Medan not so religious as in Pare. But not also in Pare, mostly area in Java, especially East Java and Central Java are religious area. So watch your attitude and appearance. Keep your polite.
But, English camp doesn’t mean Pare looks like such as settlements in foreign countries or areas packed with tourist attractions like the foreigner in Yogyakarta or Jakarta. The people still speak Indonesian or Javanese there ( out of the course place of course). But you can find here many English course like homestay.
